Verify your ID and set up security<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The next step when setting up your Etsy shop involves <strong>verifying your identity<\/strong> by uploading an ID from your country of residence, like a driving licence or passport.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enabling <strong>two-factor authentication<\/strong> to make your shop account extra secure &ndash; you can choose to do this via phone, SMS or via the Google Authenticator app.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Step 6.
